Job Summary

Will oversee all repairs and upkeep of the company’s facilities and equipment.

Have a solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations.

Will have administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.

The goal is to ensure that the facilities and equipment are well-cared for and adequate to support the

company's business operations.

Responsibilities

Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of all company equipment

Carry out inspections of all equipment to identify and resolve issues

Check electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems of equipment to ensure functionality

Plan and oversee all repairs of equipment in the plant

Allocate workload and supervise upkeep of staff

Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary

Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance

Manage and coordinate all work performed by outside vendors and contractors

Keep maintenance logs and report daily activities

Ensure all maintenance team members comply with company health and safety policies

QualificationsPhysical Demands

5-7 years experience in manufacturing maintenanceMust be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematicsMust be able to use hands to touch, feel, or handle tools and/or parts.

Effective interpersonal and written communication skills

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectivelyMust be able to stoop, bend, and crouch to work on equipment.

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft OfficeMust be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds or more at any time.

Proven experience as an assistant manager or other managerial role

Experience in planning maintenance operationsVision abilities must be good, both close and long distance.

Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems etc.
